Extended Day Programs (After School Care)

Affordable after school care is available at the Raymond G. Sanchez Community Center.
Transportation will be available ONLY if 14 Sage students sign up and pre-pay.
First come, first served.

Minimum age requirement to enter kindergarten

As used in the Public School Code (Sec.22-1-2 NMSA (1978), as amended)

Definitions:

O.     “school-age person” means a person who is at least five years of age prior to 12:01 a.m. on September 1 of the school year and who has not received a high school diploma or its equivalent.  A maximum age of twenty-one shall be used for a person who is classified as special education membership as defined in Section 22-8-21 NMSA 1978 or as a resident of a state institution; §22-1-2(O) NMSA (2010)

 

Food Services Policy and Nutrition Education

SMCS will be a closed campus. Students bring their own lunch and snacks.
Free and/or reduced lunch programs will not be available at Sage Montessori Charter School for the 2013-2014 school year.

 

Guided Tours

SMCS offers guided tours, by reservation only. Call the school during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, to schedule your reservation. Spaces are limited so we can answer your questions about SMCS. We strongly encourage you to bring your prospective student with you so you can see your student in the educational environment and make a more informed decision for your student.
